Cookie Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2025
1. Our Approach
Kotva.ai is built with privacy in mind. We do not use cookies for marketing, advertising, tracking, or profiling purposes. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third-party advertisers.
Because of this approach, we do not display a cookie consent banner — there is simply nothing to consent to.
2. Analytics – Umami
We use Umami to understand how visitors interact with our website. Umami is an open-source, privacy-first analytics platform. It:
- —Collects no personal data
- —Sets no cookies of any kind
- —Does not use fingerprinting or cross-site tracking
- —Is fully GDPR and CCPA compliant
- —Is self-hosted on our own infrastructure — your data never leaves our servers
The only data we collect is anonymous page view statistics (e.g. pages visited, referrer, browser type, country). This data cannot be used to identify you and is never shared with third parties.
3. Session Recording
We use Umami's session recording feature to understand how users navigate the site. Recordings are anonymised and sampled at 50% of visits — not every session is recorded. Input fields (such as email addresses) are masked and never captured. Recordings are stored on our own infrastructure and are not shared with third parties.
4. Essential Functionality
When you submit the early access form, your browser makes a standard HTTP request to our server. No cookies are set as part of this interaction.
5. Changes to This Policy
If our approach to cookies or analytics changes in the future, we will update this page and notify users where required by law.
